CAGNE seeks a fair and equitable distribution of arrivals and departures for all communities surrounding Gatwick Airport.
CAGNE seeks to ensure the complete picture of the ramifications of airspace is addressed at all times in a fair and equitable manner.
CAGNE set Gatwick the challenge of our benchmark that is to be fair in the totality, severity and lack of respite with all considerations when looking to change airspace, however marginal or extensive.
CAGNE will never agree to move noise from one community over another, and stresses that full consultations with all parties must be obligatory; those currently overflown and those that would be newly overflown.
CAGNE does not agree to new flight paths over new areas.
CAGNE recognised that the Gatwick management/ shareholders continuing to strive for growth at any price to the local communities, which we find unacceptable. Gatwick’s plans for greater profits by using the emergency runway as a second runway/ interim for growth, whilst adding new routes through PRNAV procedures, gives total disregard for the ever increasing noise complaints and lack of surface access to service tens of millions of people that try to access this airport – a second runway by stealth is unacceptable!
CAGNE strongly oppose the safeguarding of land for a third runway.
CAGNE supports a ban on night flights.
