Gatwick has announced a 12 week consultation on their master plans for, not one runway, not two runways but three runways

Gatwick has announced a 12 week consultation on their master plans for, not one runway, not two runways but three runways:

  1. Main Runway using concentrated flight paths to increase noise and new routes!
  2. Use the emergency runway in conjunction with the main runway
  3. Safeguard the land for a new runway

That makes a total of three runways in the future plans for Gatwick Airport with no recognition by Gatwick airport of the consequence this will have for rural communities, lack of roads, rail, lack of land for affordable housing, or amenities for local people in Sussex, Surrey and Kent.

Gatwick’s roadshow of consultation events do not include areas that are significantly affected by aircraft noise. We encourage you to attend and to take part in the consultation by saying NO to Gatwick’s plans to destroy Sussex, Surrey and Kent purely for the greed of owners/ shareholders of Gatwick NOT for the national or local interest. The events are:

Saturday 3 November – 15:30-19:30
The Barn, Causeway, Horsham, RH12 1HE

Thursday 8 November – 15:30-19:30
Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon, CR0 1TY

Saturday 10 November – 11:00-17:00
Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2SS

Monday 12 November – 15:30-19:30
